"A High-Voltage Half-Track is a lot more powerful than your capabilities. Plus, I think they have some water blasters too, so the old 'toaster-in-the-bathtub' physics might've helped too."
Andrew[1]

The High Voltage Half-Track is a recently-designed Dino Attack Team vehicle based upon early concepts for a hybrid between a Fire Hammer and an Iron Predator.

History[]

The design for the High Voltage Half-Track was first commissioned by Rex after Kotua allied with Chaos, since Rex believed that electric weaponry would be the best counter against Chaos's power.[2]

One High Voltage Half-Track was deployed on Adventurers' Island. It was stolen by Sam Sinister amidst the chaos of a Mutant Dino and Stromling attack on the Dino Attack camp, with Frozeen and Greybeard joining him.[3] They used the High Voltage Half-Track to traverse the island's jungle with the Maelstrom Crystal in order to reach the Maelstrom Temple.[4]

During the final battle in LEGO City, Adventure drove a High Voltage Half-Track and used it in battle against Dr. Rex. Its electricity-based weaponry electrocuted Dr. Rex through his silge armor, leaving him mortally wounded.[5] Unfortunately, the Darkitect saved Dr. Rex's life, and Adventure's High Voltage Half-Track was destroyed in an effort to slow down Dr. Rex's rampage.[1] Another High Voltage Half-Track was airlifted into battle by a Dino Air Tracker in Rosalie Mercedes' fleet.[6]

Features[]

The High-Voltage Half-Track features twin electro-prods on the front, a high-powered taser device, a water cannon, and low-voltage and high-voltage electro-launchers. Its armor was designed to be impenetrable to even Mutant Raptor attacks, and its treads allow the vehicle to drive over rubble with ease.[7]

Trivia[]

  • The High Voltage Half-Track is a combiner model for the LEGO Dino Attack Fire Hammer and Iron Predator sets, with building instructions released exclusively in the BrickMaster edition of LEGO Magazine.[7] This is referenced in the RPG with Rex basing the High Voltage Half-Track's design upon the Fire Hammer and Iron Predator.[2]
